I purchased a pack of Jack
Daniels Beef Brisket at Target when it was on sale. I had seen this particular product time and
time again but had yet to purchase. On
the look out for something new, I decided to grab a pack and have it for lunch
one day.

I’ve tried a few of the Jack Daniels line items and while I
do enjoy the pulled chicken, it is very sweet. The glaze used on the beef brisket is also
sweet, but not sickeningly so. A 151
gram serving was 5 points plus. Worth
it? Eh, I don’t know if I’d say it was
but it was a meal…
QUESTION:
Have you tried any of the Jack Daniels heat and eat meals?
I've tried the Jack Daniels baby back ribs and I really like them. One thing on my shopping list I haven't tried yet is Trader Joe's smokehouse pulled beef brisket and chicken breast. They sound similar to the Jack Daniels. Maybe you could do a taste comparison!
ReplyDeleteI've actually tried the Trader Joe's Pulled Chicken. I've got the photos to post a mini review -- I just haven't gotten around to it. It's alright, I wasn't in love with it. I think it was because I found a piece of like "grissel" (that hard chunky fat stuff) in it and was turned off lol.
DeleteThat would turn me off of it too!
DeleteI'm such a finicky eater. I know some people are like "Whatever" but me? I completely lose my appetite lol. But I'm used to like homemade pulled pork and chicken ... so I do go into these things biased, just a tad
DeleteSo I did a google search for reviews on the JD Beef Brisket and stumbled upon your page. I just had to comment..whatta transformation!!! You're beautiful and congrats on your weight loss!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much!
DeleteThis sounds like a nice recipe to try, thanks for posting.
