Kellogg’s Special K – Blondie Brownie Bites

I picked up a box of these new Kellogg’s Special K Brownie Bites in the Blondie flavor.  These are also available in a fudge flavor but since I LOVE white chocolate I had to pick up this box instead.

The Blondie Brownie Bites are individually packaged and are 100 calories for each pack.  The brownie bites are little small square pieces.  But I have to say … sadly, this was a complete miss for me.  The consistency of the “brownies” was more of a raw cookie dough texture.  It didn’t taste like a brownie; it tasted more like … well, cookie dough.  The brownie pieces were really soft which made me feel like I was eating raw cookie dough.  I wasn’t a fan to say the least and haven’t touched these since I purchased them.  My boyfriend likes cookie dough and found them to be okay, so I awarded him with the remaining packages.  If he’ll eat them, I’m not sure, but time will tell.

Point Plus wise, these were 3 points plus … but for me, not worth it.

QUESTION:
Have you tried the new Kellogg’s Brownie Bites?

  1. I tried them and i totally agree, that they the blondie ones tasted like cookie dough. So i wasnt too fond of them either. But I must say the fudge ones are pretty good! They actually taste more like a brownie. And its pretty fudgy so its not too far off. I am also on weight watchers, just started a little bit ago and already lost 7 pounds. Nothing compared to your 180 lbs! Good Job! Im gonna try to keep it up! I really like it!

    1. I know a lot of people are on the fence with these - some love them, some don't. But glad to hear I'm not alone on the cookie dough aspect! Maybe I'll pick up the brownie ones one day. Congrats on the 7 pound loss! Remember, a loss is a loss, even if it's a small one. Just keep positive. Thank you for reading!

    1. I agree! I ended up giving the box away. They weren't worth it. I'd rather have a brownie and spend a few extra points!

  4. Omg these are amazing! They taste like mini cookie dough bites. They would be great on ice cream.

  6. My grandson loved them. He ate 3 packages at once. They are like cookie dough, not brownies. I also saw that there had been a recall on them a few months ago. Since he is a chocoholic, I may let him try the fudge ones. I wold like to find a really good blondie recipe.
