Yoplait Greek 100 Calorie Whips! Tropical

I have evidently been on a mission to try all of the new Greek Whips that appeal to my taste buds. One of those was the Yoplait Greek 100 Calorie Whips! Tropical. The tropical Greek yogurt is one of my favorites so I figured a whipped version would be perfect ... and it truly did not let me down!

As I've mentioned in a previous review the texture of this yogurt is a far cry from your average Greek yogurt. It's not thick, heavy, or "wet" in consistency. It's light, airy and has a mousse texture to it. It's flavored well, giving a jam packed 9 grams of protein, while also remaining light and airy at the same time. Definitely a different twist on a yogurt which can make for a refreshing dessert or snack option.  I have seen some people using this as a cream between graham crackers - kind of a nod to the old school Weight Watchers cool whip "ice cream sandwiches."

The flavor of this is very much tropical. There's hints of mango and pineapple which give it a very sweet, refreshing "tropical" vibe. It's very much reminiscent of its Greek yogurt variety, which is enjoyable because now depending on whichever texture I'm looking for I can reach for one or the other.

Yoplait Greek 100 Calorie Whips Lemon Meringue

Ever since the Yoplait Greek 100 Calorie Whips hit the market they've been all the rage. I made a point to pick up a few of the flavors that seemed the most interesting to me. One of those was Yoplait Greek 100 Calorie Whips - Lemon Meringue. I figured this would be one of those flavors that was either hit or miss since lemon yogurts can be either really good or really bad without very much go-between.

The lemon meringue flavor was dead on and exactly what one would assume it would taste like. It's definitely a smooth subtly sweet lemon flavor which had a bit of a creamy meringue flavor wrapped into it. It cured my craving for something sweet and dessert-like.

Yoplait Greek 100 Calorie Whips - Vanilla Cupcake

When I heard about the new Greek Whips I knew I had to go on the hunt for them. After asking a few folks where they found them, I made it a priority to pop by a local grocery store which is about 15 minutes away from my house. Low and behold I landed upon the mother load ... and in turn picked up the Yoplait Greek 100 Calorie Whips - Vanilla Cupcake.

I initially grabbed 2 of this flavor not knowing what it would taste like. I mean ... hello, have we met? I am a cupcake connoisseur, so of course I was game from the get go. Opening it up and giving it a try I was quite intrigued. After trying it ... I can honestly say it's pure vanilla and no cupcake, not even a hint of cupcake.

The texture is what I would call a cross between cool whip and yogurt. The texture actually reminds me of cool whip when I mix a package of sugar free pudding into it. Sort of that airy, flavored cream that's light but unique. It doesn't have the natural "heaviness" that comes with Greek yogurt and is very light. The bonus part? The cup serves up a fabulous 9 grams of protein.
